Green manufacturing statement
Renewable energy sources
Renewable energy sources are sources of energy that are replenished naturally and can be used without depleting their reserves. GMF has a strategic roadmap to provide all the energy it uses in production from renewable energy sources under a green manufacturing conscious and works to shift all its production to renewable energy.
Energy efficiency
Energy efficiency in manufacturing involves the optimization of the energy consumption of manufacturing processes and facilities, with the goal of reducing energy consumption and associated costs, as well as decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. GMF is planning periodic energy audit to identify where energy is being used and wasted in the manufacturing process, and where efficiency improvements can be made. Besides, GMF's energy policy also includes identifying energy-intensive activities will help identify opportunities for reducing energy consumption.
Pollution reduction
Manufacturing processes are a significant source of pollution, including air pollution, water pollution, and soil contamination. GMF’s pollution prevention policy focuses on reducing or eliminating waste before it is generated. Switching to non-toxic materials, improving equipment maintenance to reduce leaks, and optimizing production processes to reduce the amount of waste generated is a solid responsibility of GMF.
Employee engagement
Employee engagement is crucial for the success of green manufacturing. Engaging employees in sustainable practices will help build a culture of sustainability within the organization and encourage the adoption of environmentally friendly practices. GMF, with its sustainability and environment-friendly approach, is developing employee awareness and active participation program for green thinking perspective.
